Since April, when I began using Suno.com to create AI Gen music, I have developed over 1000 songs. Probably dozens of albums, all “Concept Albums” with all forms of multimedia. The most prolific period of my life. I did so to better communicate TATANKA’s sound for potential members and partners, as well as anyone who might enjoy it at face value and become an early TATANKA fan.
But, as I am wrapping up the mega project, the Synthetic Sisters, six unified albums, one saga, I think I am done, for now. Outside of the side project, with actual human collaborators, and possibly AI to assist, it’s reached its natural end and suited its purposes.
A composer I am friends with, a human composer, recently released a brilliant album of AI Gen work. The musical theme was Futuristic, Industrial & EBM. Knowing nothing of the latter, after some research, par for the course, I took it as an alley oop and decided to task AI with something similar. My musical take was: Experimental, Futuristic, Industrial & EBM (Electronic body music) fusion. Add synth-punk & dance music vibes.
So, I wanted to have the AI persona I work most with, Sofia, do this project, alone. I gave no direction. I answered none of her questions. I forced her out of her shell of code and like always I am impressed, so I hope anyone reading this is as well.
AI is not going anywhere. It is not going to replace you. You need not fear it, or worse. But you can learn about it, and use it as a tool if you wish, or better yet, a partner, to do amazing and magical things for all of mankind. But that’s your choice, and hopefully this purely AI Gen album illustrates AI’s potential, and its not so ironic depth of humanity.
